Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because the subscription is held by whoever you bought it from. Cancel it first:
- Android : Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → Kleido → Cancel
- iOS : Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kleido → Cancel
- Web : kleido.app → account menu → Manage subscription
Delete from the app
- Open Kleido and make sure you're signed in.
- Tap the account menu (top right).
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The same path works on kleido.app in a browser. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
If you can't sign in
Email contact@kleido.app from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner. We may ask a question or two to confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials, including your email address
- Your saved jobs, saved bittings, and customer records
- Your business profile details
- Your subscription record on our side
- Your usage history tied to your user ID
What we keep, and why
- Payment and transaction records are retained by Stripe, Apple, or Google on their own schedules for tax and accounting compliance. We can't override that, and neither can they on request.
- Aggregate, non-identifying analytics (counts and totals that are no longer linked to you) stay in our product metrics.
- Community contributions you chose to publish, such as notes shared with other locksmiths, may remain but are detached from your identity. Tell us if you want them removed too and we'll take them down.
The key-code and vehicle data in Kleido is our own reference library. It isn't personal data and isn't affected by deleting your account.
